When you open a checking account, you will be entitled to apply for a Visa Check Card. You may make free withdrawals at any NY State Walgreens.

Make Free Transactions

• Unlimited Checking account holders can make unlimited, free debit card transactions and unlimited free ATM transactions at participating surcharge free locations.
• Start Checking account holders can use their Visa Check Card to make unlimited, free debit card transactions; and a total of four free ATM transactions per month, at participating surcharge free ATM locations (each additional ATM transaction costs $1).
