Friend of Bk Coop Benefits
There are no fees associated with a CD or savings account.
A Bk Coop representative will ensure your account works the way you want it to, including electronic transactions, e-statements, and mobile banking.
Deposits are insured up to $250,000.
Vote for Board members, participate in meetings, and help shape decisions that impact the coop.
How to Become a Friend of Brooklyn Coop
Complete the Forms
We'll provide the forms needed to establish your organization's membership and accounts, including the Membership Application, Business Account information, Beneficial Ownership form, and Corporate Resolution.
Interested in a checking account? We'll provide a separate checking account application.
Gather Your Documents
Please have your organization's registration and governing documents ready. Depending on your organization, these may include:
- EIN letter
- 501(c)(3) determination letter, if applicable
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Certificate of Good Standing or most recent Form 990
- Board Resolution identifying authorized signers
Submit & Get Started
Once your forms and documents are complete, we'll review everything to make sure your application is ready for Board approval and account opening.
We'll provide a secure way to submit your documents and guide you through the process.
